Antique French portrait of Juliette Recamier, artist signed. Done in the late 19th century to early 20th century. Original by François Pascal 'Baron' Simon Gérard 1802. This portrait appears to be a Positive Photograph that has been hand painted, however I'm not an expert and cannot confirm what type of picture/photo this is. I tried to capture the image so you can see the negative/positive effect. The frame is a beautiful gold tone Victorian style frame. Please see pics for condition and measurements.
