Stunning vintage Asian Spice Box or Jewelry Box with Mother of Pearl / Abolone Chinese Dragon Inlay.  Also features inlay of delicate roses floral on sides and ginger jar/urn on top within a black lacquer finish.  Natural shell has an amazing iridescence not easily captured by photos.  Large 15 inches wide.  Nine removeable compartments to store your treasures.  Made of real wood, not cheap plastic.  No dings or cracks.  Minor paint flakes on some edges, mostly on the red wedges.  authentic Black portion has few paint chips and is remarkably clean for its age.  Obviously loved but gently used.
