This Z-scale train set has been tested and does work, but please note that the track and locomotive seem like they both could use a good cleaning for better performance. The included 9V power pack does work. The set includes an oval of track however 1 of the authentic straight pieces, which you will need to finish the oval as the terminal track is a straight and you have to use it.
