These are a rare find. Vinaigrette jewelry were made to ward off the bad smells of the era. Perfume soaked cotton was inserted and the scent was distributed through the holes on the bottom These are marked authentic sterling and silver (look at pics). The original cotton is still inside. The etching is quite beautiful. I can polish them more if you'd like. Some of the patina is still visible.
