I think it was made in 1927 based on the serial number Gruen authentic 14k Gold Filled Reinforced with Extra Gold Wadsworth 5298689 OS 72 This watch has a couple Easter eggs The interior of the watch case has other numbers etched into it. Only visible when the case is taken apart. The other inside part of the case has roman numerals 8689 etched into it. These are the last numbers of the serial number. Only visible when the watch is taken apart. 15 Jewels 4 ADJ 1636974 Some pictures are magnified The case has some discoloration on the corners. Not working. I would love to sell this to someone who can fix it.
