French art critic Anatole Jarkovsky described him in 1972 as 'one of the greatest Naive painters of all times. He's best known for geometric vegetation and cloud patterns that morph into authentic pastel-colored arabesque like structures. He mainly paints flowers and landscapes. Due to an illness he had to stop painting in 1972. Born March 27, 1921 in Logic, Croatian and died December 18, 2008. His screen prints and oils are quite valuable.
